MOSHIMOSHI (Midwest Screamo, Finnland)
moshimoshi is a Helsinki-based four-piece that combines the raw and beautiful sound of early 00's emo bands to faster post-hardcore riffs, screamed vocals and math rock infused guitar antics.
Their first full-length album Green LP was released in April 2023 via Finnish indie label All That Plazz. The album has received praise from music blogs and forums worldwide much like the band's debut effort, self-titled EP released in 2021.
The latest release “moshimoshi / Alas Split” was released in September 2024, gaining recognition from one of the world’s biggest music blogs Stereogum among others.
moshimoshi has toured Finland extensively since the beginning of their career. They made their European touring debut in the spring of 2024 with dates in Estonia, Croatia, Austria and Czechia, later expanding their continental adventures to Italy.
