Open to women 21 years old and above • all writing levelsParticipants of this class will learn about the craft of writing in fragments. Fragments appear most obviously in poetry, but fragmented writing is also a technique in both fiction and nonfiction prose. Writing in fragments can yield pieces with the variation and vibrance of a mosaic. Fragmented writing can also lead to wonderful hybrid work that blurs the lines between poetry and prose.
In this generative workshop, we will look at examples of fragmented writing. We’ll create fragments based on prompts, then learn how to arrange, polish, and bind fragments according to your most playful visions. There will also be time for optional sharing and feedback as well as question, answer, and discussion.
Workshop fee: P3,500 includes handouts, cookies, and coffee
