Join us at Salt Restaurant & Bar inside Collegian Hotel & Suites Syracuse for a Mosaic Workshop! During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic and walk you through creating your very own pumpkin! She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile and how to put together and grout your piece. We'll provide a variety of colors of tiles to choose from. Black grout will be used for this project, as shown.
Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project. This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.
This event is for ages 12+.
This event will be at Salt Restaurant & Bar, right inside the Collegian Hotel & Suites! There is parking lot parking at the hotel lot off of Madison Street. This event will be held in a section of the restaurant. You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase food and beverages at Salt Restaurant & Bar and indulge during our class. They have salads, apps, burgers and more!
