Mosaic Learning Series: Picassiette Mirror WorkshopThe Art of Transforming Vintage China
Discover the timeless beauty of Picassiette, the art of creating mosaics from broken china and porcelain.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to safely cut fine porcelain while preserving its most beautiful patterns, then combine those pieces with colorful glass mosaic tiles to create a stunning 20-inch decorative mirror. Along the way, you'll explore composition, tile placement, gluing, and grouting techniques that bring this elegant mosaic style to life.
Every mirror becomes completely unique—a beautiful statement piece for your home or a thoughtful handmade gift.
You're welcome to bring treasured china from home to incorporate into your design, making your finished piece even more meaningful.
