The workshop takes place at Mary Lindsay Homestead, a beautiful historic heritage building in Yanchep, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and creative mosaic experience.
Our mosaic workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially beginners. Whether you are creating your first mosaic or already have some experience, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and supportive environment where you can work at your own pace.
With multiple project options available, you can create a unique piece that reflects your personal style. Your experienced teacher will provide guidance, techniques and individual support throughout the session, helping you bring your ideas to life.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed mosaic artwork, new skills, creative inspiration and the confidence to continue exploring the beautiful art of mosaic.
Mosaic is a wonderful craft for beginners — it is relaxing, forgiving and allows you to experiment with colours, textures and designs while discovering your own creative style.
What you'll get
- At the end of the class, you will have a unique mosaic item made by you for you to take home!
- Water, tea and coffee provided, please bring your own food, herbal teas, cool drinks etc.
- Photographs may be taken during the classes and used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Workshop Schedule
10:00 – 10:10
Welcome, introduction and safety briefing. Learn the basics of mosaic techniques and choose your project.
10:10 – 1:00 pm
Create your mosaic artwork with step-by-step guidance and individual support.
1:00 – 1:15 pm
Adhesive drying time. Take a short break, enjoy a chat and prepare for grouting.
1:15 – 2:00 pm
Grouting, finishing touches and final quality check. Take home your completed mosaic masterpiece.
