What is your legacy? What parts of you will remain in some way on this earth once you’re gone?MortaliTea invites you into conversation with your impermanence, to explore legacy.
We’ll start the evening with a welcome and a bit of getting to know each other before moving into a creative visioning project suitable for all- even those of you who right now may be thinking you’re not the creative type! All materials are provided for a mixed media creation calling into focus what is important to us and what we aspire to be and do.
Once we’ve spent some time with our creative process we’ll come together for an intentional blue lotus tea ceremony. Blue lotus tea carries a sacred history in relation to death, grief, and transitions dating back to ancient Egyptian cosmology. The blue lotus will build us a bridge between here and the afterlife. As we sip, we’ll write our own obituary.
From here our tea-state will carry us off into a Mortality meditation to the tune of a sound bath. Those who wish to do so may be wrapped in a burial shroud for our sound mediation. Coming back down to earth we’ll share a grounding plant based meal and close with a circle discussing what came up and how we want to integrate these MortaliTea insights into our life to leave the legacy we wish.

Hailey Dixon// (She/Her/Hers) I am a lover of the liminal, a full spectrum death doula, educator, researcher, altered states companion, plant medicine enthusiast, griever, hospice worker, and artist. I come to death, grief, and plant medicine work rooted in respect for autonomy, authenticity, compassion and curiosity.
Kimberly Ajers// (She/Her/Hers) Between alchemizing my curiosities of death and life with my education and training on how the body moves, emotes, changes, and ages, I find myself a forever student to all things; death/life and our body.I hope to offer services for the whole self of the dying and the living around those dying. Through the ancient movement practices of yoga, dance, restorative rest as well as in meditation, intention setting, and the ancient energy work of reiki.
ashley hunt// (she/they/fae) is a poet, artist, intuitive, and certified holistic coach. they are a neurodivergent Sapphic Queer, a vegetarian, a mother of cats and plants, and a reader of cards and stars. she has a master's degree in conflict resolution and spent the bulk of her career working with survivors of violence and brings this experience and lens to her work now. whether working 1:1 with clients or facilitating groups, ashley creates trauma-informed, power-conscious, and magical containers with folx to steward them through transformational and transitional seasons of their lives. she comes to her work firmly grounded in values of agency, integrity, authenticity, and hope. connect with her @untitledmemoir
