We’re so excited to share that we’re hosting a Morning with Santa at The Honey Pot Inn, Filey, on Saturday 19th December, from 10am!As we start putting everything together, we’re really hoping to create a lovely festive morning for local families, while raising money for a charity that means so much to our community — Filey Childcare
Every child will get the chance to meet Santa, enjoy a hot chocolate and take home their very own gift. We’ve been reaching out to a number of organisations to see if they can help us with book donations, as we’d love every little one to leave with a special Christmas gift.
There’ll also be games, Christmas crafts, festive films, local stalls and fundraising activities organised by the wonderful Filey Junior School PTA. There should be plenty to keep everyone entertained!
🎟️ Tickets are £8 for the first child and £4 for each additional child in the same family booking.
For each family booking, up to two adults will also receive a hot drink or a glass of festive bubbles on us. Additional adults are very welcome too, with drinks available to purchase from the bar.
This is something we really wanted to do because we believe in supporting the people and places that make such a difference to our local children and families.
As parents of two little ones, we know just how important our local nurseries, schools and childcare settings are. They do so much for our children, and the people who work in them give so much of themselves every day. Their work deserves to be recognised, valued and supported.
Steph is also Chair of Filey Junior School’s PTA, and will be working closely with the lovely PTA committee to help bring the morning together. We’re so grateful for their support and for everything they do for the children at the school.
We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Filey Childcare. Your whole team works incredibly hard for local children and families, and we really appreciate all that you do. It feels lovely to be able to give a little something back.
Every penny raised through the sale of event tickets will go directly to Filey Childcare (registered charity number 1131725). The event is being organised and hosted by The Honey Pot Inn in support of the charity.

Places will be limited, depending on the number of donated books we receive, so please do get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
