Moray Self-Directed Support Roadshow
Moray Health & Social Care Partnership (MHSCP), in partnership with Social Work Scotland, Self Directed Support Scotland and In Control Scotland, invite you to join us for Moray’s Self-Directed Support Roadshow.
This national roadshow is coming to Moray to explore what good support looks like when Direct Payments are used to employ Personal Assistants.
Come along for a day of practical information, shared experiences, workshops and conversations with people who have a role in making Self-Directed Support work well.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- find out more about the rights, responsibilities and support available to PA employers and PAs
- hear from people with lived experience of managing a Direct Payment
- connect with local and national organisations offering advice and support
- explore issues including employer liability insurance, Adults with Incapacity and PA support
- share your experiences and ideas about what works and what needs to change
- help shape the future of PA employment and SDS support in Moray.
Whether you’re a PA employer, a current or potential PA, or someone supporting people who use SDS, we’d love you to be part of the conversation.
