If you have never seen the spectacular full moonrise over Greenbury Point, this is your last opportunity to get a peak before the off season hours go into effect on November 1st. This is a casual meet up NOT a guided or sponsored hike. Anyone who wishes to walk together and meet some new nature friends, be at the nature center by 4:45. The moon rises at 5:39 on this evening, so recommended to take the West Road out to the Point enjoying the sunset of the Annapolis skyline and twilight under the towers along the way. It's about a 2.25 mile walk out and back.
The gates close at 8pm, so you should plan to be back at your vehicle and departing NO LATER THAN 8pm. Bring a flashlight to get back safely.
Moon viewing is a weather dependent activity and cannot be guaranteed.
