An intimate evening of Healing Sound, Songs & Stories with BlakeX & Jessica Om
BlakeX is a singer-songwriter whose music draws from the storytelling traditions of folk, Americana, and 1970s singer-songwriters, while carrying echoes of a much wider musical world—from classic rock and country to grunge, metal, and global music. Writing songs since the age of 16, BlakeX creates music centered on the human journey, exploring the lessons, losses, rebirths, and transformations that shape a life. Often described as medicine music, his songs prioritize connection over performance, inviting listeners to slow down, listen deeply, and find a piece of themselves within the words.
Jessica Om is a multi-disciplinary artist and devotee of love, nature, movement, and sound. She lives her life as an expression of "heART" and an inspiring sense of freedom. Raised in the performing arts, music and dance have always been at the forefront of her passions. While her musical style is immensely eclectic, her yogic path led her to mantra, kirtan, and sharing the medicine of healing sound nearly 20 years ago—a practice that remains central to her world. Weaving sounds and songs across multiple cultures and genres, Jessica creates immersive sonic experiences intended to invoke the memory of our cosmic being and the freedom of an open heart.
