MonuMent is the premier annual meeting place for professionals, owners, and managers in the monumental real estate sector, taking place at the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. This event serves as a vital platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business dealings. The latest edition of the trade fair has set a record with 270 exhibitors and partners, focusing on future-proof buildings. This year’s event has emphasized the growing challenges in the restoration sector, particularly the urgent need for new skilled workers, as training programs in suitable craftsmanship are diminishing.A key highlight of MonuMent is the participation of the Neerlandsch Stucgilde, an organization dedicated to preserving artisanal knowledge in the restoration field for 25 years. Their presence underscores the importance of specialized craftsmanship and the need for a sector-wide approach to address the growing restoration challenges. This collaborative effort aims to enhance training opportunities and promote future-proof practices within the labor market. Additionally, ISOGLAS, a longstanding exhibitor at MonuMent, is making a notable appearance this year with a new stand and logo, showcasing innovative solutions for secondary glazing that maintain the aesthetic integrity of monumental structures. MonuMent is not just a trade fair; it is a crucial gathering for fostering collaboration and ensuring the sustainability of heritage preservation efforts.
