I am going to be offering MONTHLY workshops between now and December. The workshops will be the first Sunday of the month starting in September:
9/6/2026
10/4/2026
11/1/2026
12/6/2026
Per your request, I am going to be offering both a beginner level workshop and an intermediate/advanced level workshop each time. The beginner level class will be 1:15 to 2:45 PM and the Intermediate/Advanced level will be 3:15 to 4:45 PM. Each class is limited to 13 people (space requirement).
This workshop series will be held at the Nest Theatre at 2643 N High St. I am excited to be at the Nest because their space is wheelchair accessible, located on a major bus line, and has a dedicated parking lot next to Ace of Cups. However, this does mean that I need to raise prices a bit because the rental expense is higher.
A single workshop is $30. Two workshops are $50 and four workshops are $100.
The first workshop (9/6/2026) will be "Drop, Slide and Roll: Incorporating Floorwork Into Your Choreography."
The beginner level class will focus on getting in and out of the floor safely and smoothly. The intermediate/advanced class will focus on more complex sequences of floor work and assumes that participants understand how to slide to the floor (or a chair/bench) on their shin.
Both classes can be done seated.
I am still working out what the next 3 workshops will be though I am hoping to incorporate musicality and GNC approaches to performing sexuality in all workshops. Please feel free to message me with ideas and/or requests!
