Gather at for a Monthly Wine Masterclass at INTERMISSION, the hotel’s intimate wine bar and lobby lounge in Melbourne CBD.
This guided wine tasting experience is a rotating showcase of celebrated Australian winemakers and professionals, bringing the cellar-door experience to the city.
Informal by design, it is an easy pre-dinner or pre-theatre event. This wine tasting is also a great way to meet new people. The format is relaxed, the group is small, and conversation flows easily over good wine and shared discovery.
Each masterclass features premium wines, with the winemaker guiding guests through the line-up and sharing more about the winery, the region, and the wines in the glass.

Join us this month for a special edition of Wine Club, featuring the renowned family-owned Chalmers Winery, hosted by Tennille Chalmers.
For more than three decades, the Chalmers family has been at the forefront of Australian viticulture. With vineyards in both Heathcote and Merbein near Mildura, they have earned a reputation for innovation, sustainability, and championing alternative grape varieties. Recognised by Gourmet Traveller Wine and respected across the industry, sisters Kim and Tennille Chalmers continue to drive the family legacy forward through experimentation, education, and excellence in winemaking.
With an extensive portfolio of 29 wines, Tennille will personally guide guests through a curated tasting of eight exceptional Chalmers wines at Le Méridien Melbourne's Intermission Bar & Lounge.
Beginning at 6pm, this intimate tasting experience offers the perfect start to an evening in Melbourne's CBD. Guests will enjoy premium tasting pours, thoughtfully paired with a selection of complimentary nibbles throughout the session.
Wine Club guests are also invited to continue the evening with dinner at Dolly, where bookings from 8pm are available with an exclusive 20% dining discount.
