About this Event
We are partnering with the Ocean Conservancy to host the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) with events taking place between September 1st and October 31st throughout Pinellas County. This annual event brings together volunteers in coastal regions to collect, count, and document the trash they find, acting as citizen scientists all over the world. The Ocean Conservancy then uses this data to study marine debris and release a yearly report detailing the most common types of trash found in coastal areas, the total weight of trash collected, and much more.
Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful in partnership with Sun Drunk on the first Saturday of each month for a cleanup at Upham Beach. Help us ensure our coastline stays litter- free and beautiful. We're excited to see you there!

Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

WHEN: First Saturday of each month
TIME: Cleanup will begin at 9:00 am. Please allow time for parking and sign-in.
WHERE: Upham Beach Park - 6850 Beach Plaza, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. We will be set up on the beach near Paradise Grille.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers, weather appropriate clothing, and sun protection.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies are provided. Feel free to bring a bucket if you have one! A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable bottle.
PARKING: Available in the lot onsite. A limited amount of parking passes will be provided. Carpooling is encouraged!
Please note: There is no need to print your ticket.
Volunteers will be notified via email if there is a cancellation.
