About this Event
In Quebec, a “cinq à sept” refers to an after-work gathering with friends, neighbours and colleagues… and includes drinks, socializing and fun – all before dinner time. We love the practice so much that we thought we’d import it to Vancouver!
This event is intended as a causal get-together for Vancouver placemakers and public space advocates. A chance to meet, swap stories, and plan the revolution! Or... just clink glasses and share a laugh.
TICKETS
The event is FREE, but seating is limited. Please register here to help us with event planning!
VENUE
Each month we pick a friendly pub, brewery or other spot that is conducive to conversation, and which has a variety of snacks and beverages available.
ABOUT THE VANCOUVER PUBLIC SPACE NETWORK
Founded in 2006, the VPSN works to champion the role of public space in the life of the city. Over the past 20 years, our work has included a wide array of placemaking activities, research initiatives, design competitions, public events, advocacy and communications on an array of public space topics. We are non-partisan, volunteer-powered and always looking to collaborate. In addition to our own projects, we work to shine a light on the work of placemakers and public space advocates across Vancouver.
