September (Book Club Date is AUG 31st): The Happiest Man on Earth is a 2020 memoir by Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku. Written when he turned 100, the book details his survival through Buchenwald, Auschwitz, and a death march, and his vow to smile every day to honor those who died. It is an inspiring story about choosing hope and gratitude over hate.
