Picnic and alfresco dining weather is just around the corner. Elevate the occasion with a monogrammed towel or table setting! These also make for personal gifts for weddings and birthdays. In this workshop, learn the basics of applying needle and thread to create beautiful decorative designs. We will cover:
- How to properly set up an embroidery hoop
- How to split embroidery floss without tangling
- Basic hand stitches
- Popular decorative stitches such as French Knot, Satin stitch, Rose stitch and more

In the rare case that no one else is signed up by a few days prior to the workshop time, we will reach out to let you know. If a workshop is cancelled, your ticket will be either refunded or rescheduled, whichever you prefer.
Note: You are welcome to bring your own item to embroider. We recommend fabric with natural fibers such as cotton, wool or silk. Avoid stretchy fabric or anything that's super thick or fuzzy. Faux furs, denim, leather or fleece will be difficult to work with due to their thickness and toughness.
Your workshop comes with a complimentary Sewing Help workshop. This is a session that's perfect if you need more time to finish or ask clarifying questions. Simply look for an upcoming Help session and let us know ([email protected]) which session you'd like to attend at least 48 hours before the session starts. Please note that the same cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to the Help session.

Materials: A large square 100% cotton linen fabric that can be used as napkin or hand towel, needle, 1 skein embroidery floss (color of your choice), needle threader, embroidery hoop
