How it works
There will be no walk, because we got things to learn!
We will be doing a tutorial of how to set up an account and start investing yourself. It iwll be deeply practical. Bring a phone to create an account with us.
If you have been self investing and are ready to share what you know and have learned in a peer-to-peer and pressure-free way, this event is also for you!
This is a peer to peer event, sharing our experiences. This isn't financial advice, it's education on how to.
Who's it for
- People wanting to learn how to invest money themselves (no experience required)
- People who have been investing for a little while and want to share what they have learned and learn from others.
- Any individual interested in making better financial decisions.

- People who don't want to share openly.
- People who can not maintain confidentiality about what is shared.
- People who can't maintain a non-judgemental approach to hearing others stories and experience.
What to expect
We will meet at The Atrium, sit down, talk about how to set up a self directed investment account. The basics of what accoutns to create (TFSA, RRSPs) and what kinds of things you can invest in (EFTs, Stocks, Crypto, and more). Attendees with experience doing self directed investing will share what they have learned. Everyone is welcome to bring a lunch to stay and mingle.
Well worth an hour to learn some of the most often avoided financial lesssons that really can change the game on building wealth.
