About this Event
Money is going digital. Let's help kids understand it.
For many kids, money is already more than cash and credit cards. They buy Robux and V-Bucks and are growing up in a world where money increasingly moves digitally, but using digital currencies and understanding how they work are not the same thing.
Money in the Digital World is a free, hands-on workshop for kids aged 10-12. Through a story and team games, kids learn what digital money is, why people use it, and how to use it safely. No prior knowledge is needed.
What your kid will walk away with
- Financial confidence: Understand the real ideas behind digital money, including cryptocurrency and stablecoins (digital money designed to keep a steady value)
- Safety skills: Know how to protect their private codes, spot scams, and use only trusted apps and wallets
- Smart money habits: Practice budgeting and making good payment choices
- A real-world view: See why people use digital money
