With Thomas Vo Van Tao, this session focuses on the techniques and adavus of Mohiniyattam — a classical dance form from Kerala, India. Participants will explore its characteristic movements, rhythmic structures, and flowing aesthetics.
Workshop
The workshop is open to dance enthusiasts and dancers who wish to explore the fundamentals of Mohiniyattam or deepen their existing practice. The session will focus on technique, adavus, and an understanding of the distinctive aesthetics and movement quality of this classical Indian dance style.
