About this Event
Modesto Postcard Social: Make Something, Meet Someone New
Practical Focus: A relaxed Friday evening social designed for Modesto adults, newcomers, and solo attendees looking to build genuine friendships without walking into a loud bar or high-pressure mixer.
The Postcard Bar: Begin the evening with an effortless 15-minute creative activity—craft a simple postcard using cardstock, stickers, collage strips, or written prompts (no artistic skills required).
Common-Ground Tables: Move into comfortable small groups (4–6 people) with optional, lighthearted conversation prompts to skip superficial small talk.
Social Switch: Switch tables once during the evening to meet a fresh group of people without the fatigue of rapid-fire speed rotations.
Solo-Friendly Design: Built specifically for individual attendees to feel immediately included from the moment they walk through the door.
Strictly Non-Dating & Anti-Solicitation: Designed for friendship and local community; no speed dating, business card hunting, or commercial sales pitches permitted.
Refreshments: Complimentary coffee and filtered water provided on-site.
