Modern Motherhood: New MomsBeing responsible for a little life can be overwhelming, turn your life and relationships upside down and bring up unfinished challenges from your own childhood. This group is a supportive space to put words to what motherhood means for you, with people going through something similar.
What to expect
The group will have a maximum of 10 people (always the same group) to create a calm and confidential space, allowing you to slow down and connect with yourself. Every meeting will have a theme, but there's also plenty of room for things to unfold naturally. You'll have space to share your thoughts and experiences, and if you prefer to listen or take your time, that will always be respected.
With respect to what arises in the group, we will explore together:
- Becoming a mother — how did it change you?
- Your birth experience
- Family relations, changes in dynamics with your partner, parents, siblings
- Your inner child that shows up in your relationship with your child
- and, most importantly, how you find support, both from others and within yourselves
During the last groups, I saw how powerful it is to meet and share with others who really get it, people who understand what you’re going through. So if you’re not sure whether it’s for you, you’re welcome to join the first session as a free trial and decide about the rest afterwards.
