Kick off the 13th Annual Sarasota MOD Weekend at the Pavilion!
Join us Friday night at the Pavilion to kick off MOD Weekend and the start of the season. Visitors to the Pavilion will also experience two exciting new exhibitions:
- Sarasota School: Living Legacy (North Gallery) is a rotating exhibition celebrating architects and designers whose work continues the spirit and principles of the Sarasota School. The inaugural exhibition features the work of Halflants + Pichette.
- 100 Years of Sarasota School (Main Gallery and Hall) is the centerpiece of our centennial celebration. Drawing on Architecture Sarasota's recently completed cultural resource survey, which identified more than 1,700 Sarasota School-related properties, the exhibition reexamines the movement through a 21st-century lens, exploring the people, principles, and places that have shaped one of the world's most influential regional movements in modern architecture.
