Join us for a special evening benefiting the AshLeigh Dunham for Alabama Supreme Court campaign while raising awareness about an issue that has touched families across Alabama and the country: the future of IVF and family building.
Come enjoy an evening of drinks, bites, conversation, and community as we bring together families, advocates, and special guests to talk about what happened when an Alabama Supreme Court decision brought IVF treatment across the state to a sudden halt and what we have learned in the years since.
We’ll go beyond the headlines and hear the stories of people who lived it.
As a special part of the evening, guests will also get a special sneak peek of Show Me the Line, the award-winning documentary highlighting women and families affected by the IVF decision, directed by Kelsey Ianuzzi, produced by Stacey Davis, and featuring Abbey Crain.
This evening is both a campaign fundraiser and an opportunity to raise awareness and help voters better understand the role our courts play in the everyday lives of Alabama families.
We’ll talk about the Alabama Supreme Court, the IVF decision, what happened to patients and providers in its immediate aftermath, and why understanding the courts and every branch of government matters when we head to the ballot box.
This is a ticketed campaign fundraising and educational event. The documentary preview is a special part of the program; tickets are not being sold for admission to a public film screening.
