MK Youth Connect

Meet people. Explore opportunities. Discover what's next.
Join The Skilled Youth for MK Youth Connect, a free evening bringing young people, employers, professionals and the wider community together.
This session focuses on engineering and motorsport. Whether you dream of working in motorsport, are curious about engineering, or simply want to know what jobs exist behind the cars and technology, this is a place to find out.
What can you expect?
* The chance to meet people working in engineering, motorsport and related industries.
* Insights into different career pathways, from apprenticeships and technical roles to design, data and operations.
* Honest conversations about how people got started and what they would do differently.
* Practical activities and opportunities to develop useful skills.
* A welcoming environment to ask questions and build your network. This session is shaped by young people.
At our launch, young people told us they want to explore engineering and motorsport, so that's where we're starting. Every MK Youth Connect focuses on a different industry, based on what young people ask for.
Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome: young people, parents and families, employers, educators and community organisations.
Employers and professionals from engineering and motorsport who would like to take part, please get in touch.
