A little glass, a little china, a few beads and maybe even a piece of old jewelry...this one is all about mixing things up!Inspired by the beautiful mixed media mosaic style of artist Sharra Frank, this workshop is the perfect introduction to creating mosaics with a mix of unexpected materials. We’ll start with a wood pear frame and use a groutless technique, combining glass, thrifted china, jewelry, beads and other little treasures to create a piece filled with color and texture.
Choose from three colorways, then make it completely your own. We’ll have plenty of materials to dig through, mix, match and arrange, so every pear will turn out a little different.
No mosaic experience is needed. Come play with color, texture and all the pretty little pieces and see where your design takes you!
