🎓 Play With Purpose
The tournament supports STEM scholarships for South Florida students. Scholarship recipients will be selected in April 2027, with individual scholarship awards anticipated to range from $500–$1,000, based on the total funds raised.
In May 2027, AFCEA South Florida will bring the community together again for a special Scholarship Awards Luncheon/Dinner, recognizing the scholarship recipients and the sponsors who helped make their opportunities possible.
AFCEA South Florida also invests in programs that give students opportunities to experience STEM firsthand, including support for Miami-Dade County Public Schools hackathons and other STEM initiatives.
More Than $44,000 Invested in STEM
Just over the past four years, AFCEA South Florida has invested more than $44,000 in STEM scholarships and educational initiatives across South Florida, including $7,000 recently to support student hackathons.
Every registration, sponsorship, and contribution to the Long-Range Mission helps us continue that impact.
