Create a cozy scene in miniature during this three-part diorama class focused on building a charming fireplace vignette! Participants will be provided with a fireplace kit, a 7”-deep shadow box and all necessary supplies, along with step-by-step instruction to bring their tiny space to life.
Over the course of three sessions, you’ll assemble, paint and customize your fireplace scene while learning techniques for texture, aging and scale. The final project is highly personal, with students encouraged to make their mini their own by cluttering the mantle with family photos, candles, seasonal décor or anything you can dream up. Whether your style is rustic, elegant or whimsically cluttered, this class offers plenty of creative freedom!
Perfect for creative builders and miniature enthusiasts, this series is a delightful way to explore storytelling through miniature art and leave with a finished piece ready to display.
This class will be limited to five participants. Please be aware that students will need to use an X-Acto knife and be able to work in 3-D.
