Autumn, with its early evenings and cooler (hopefully) weather is the perfect season for immersing ourselves in our writing projects, so I'm excited to invite you to our upcoming Wichita Authors Club Mini Writing Retreat! Since there’s no state Kansas Authors Club meeting in November,* let's spend a wonderful afternoon together connecting, writing, and sharing our work.DETAILS

Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Wichita Public Library, Evergreen Branch, Arteaga Room BC (not an official program of Wichita Public Library)

What's in Store:
• Fun group icebreaker
• Quiet time to write
• Crash course in public reading, complete w/ tips & practice
• Open mic
What to Bring:
• Your Writing Tools: Pens, pencils, notebooks, computers, and tablets.
• A Snack to Share: Please bring enough of your favorite snack or snacks to share with the group.
• A Water Bottle (Optional): If you desire, bring a refillable water bottle—the library offers a bottle fountain.
