Explore the galleries, sing and dance in interactive tours with costumed guides. Enjoy creative free play, craft, games and story time in our themed activity area.

NEW THEME EVERY MONTH

MARCH- Pirates Ahoy!

Every Tuesday and Saturdays 14, 21 March

10.30am - 11.15am, 11.30am - 12.15pm

Let's follow the treasure map around the museum to find the secret treasure cave. Learn how to sing, dance and scrub the deck like a pirate. Then you can decorate your own pirate hat or parrot puppet to take home and enjoy some special pirate science experiments.


APRIL- Art Adventures

Tuesdays 7, 14, 21, 28 and Saturdays 11, 18

10.30am - 11.15am, 11.30am - 12.15pm

Join us for an art adventure! Sing the colours of the rainbow, follow straight, curved and wiggly lines through our temporary exhibitions as we spot amazing animals, pretty patterns and spectacular stories in photos, paintings and sculptures.
Make your own works of art to take home and enjoy Storytime, songs and games.

Holiday sessions include access to Kids on Deck Maker Space.


MAY – Terrific Transport
Tuesdays 5, 12, 19, 26 and Saturday 9, 16 , 30

Toot toot, chug, chug and row, row around the museum as we explore different types of transport and how they move in special character tours for under 5s and their carers.

Enjoy stories, sing songs and move and dance through the galleries in this fun filled learning program. Craft your own souvenir boat, hot air balloon or sailor hat to take home.


JUNE Around the World
Tuesdays 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and Saturday 6, 13, 20

Pack your bags for an imaginative journey up, off and away, over- seas in a special character tour for under 5s and their carers. Explore different cultures and places from across the seas.

Sing songs, dance and enjoy storytime. Then you can create your own collaged sea birds or print a calico book bag to take home.
