MINDINK is a creative practice designed to quiet a busy mind and bring your nervous system back into balance through rhythmic mark-making, pattern drawing, and mindful ink work. Using a traditional dip nib pen, ink and acrylic, you will learn a simple and practical creative protocol that helps interrupt spiralling thoughts, restore focus, and support a sense of calm and clarity.
Throughout the workshop, Alejandra will guide you step-by-step through a series of gentle exercises designed to build confidence with the materials. You will explore visual repetition, pattern structures and intentional mark-making techniques that help shift you from mental overwhelm to a more grounded and centred state.
As your confidence grows, you will bring these techniques together to create your own beautiful ink artwork, discovering how small creative choices and slow, mindful movement can transform both the page and your state of mind.
This beginner friendly art workshop is suitable for anyone looking to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and experience the restorative power of drawing. No previous experience is required and all materials are provided.
At the end of the session, you will take home your finished artwork along with your dip nib pen, so you can continue your mindful drawing practice whenever you need a creative reset.
