Mindfulness is the practice of bringing gentle, nonjudgmental awareness to the present moment through the senses. This style of meditation offers an opportunity to slow down, become present, and reconnect with oneself in a safe and welcoming space. Through guided meditation and breath, participants will learn to observe thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations with curiosity and compassion, fostering relaxation, resilience, and inner balance. The last part of this experience will include the opportunity for participants to discuss their experience, share insights, or simply listen.Trevor is a PCRC substance abuse recovery coach, husband, father of three, and person in long-term recovery. After overcoming nearly 30 years of alcohol addiction, he has dedicated his life to helping others find hope, healing, and connection. Drawing from both professional experience and personal recovery, Trevor facilitates meditation as a way to help people slow down, become present, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves. His approach is welcoming, practical, and focused on creating a safe space for personal growth, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
