About this Event
Join us for an evening focused on understanding atrial fibrillation (A-Fib) and the connection between your mind and your heart. Cardiac electrophysiologist Dr. Scott Ferreira will explain what A-Fib is, what it can feel like, and how it’s managed. Psychologist Dr. Christi Nothnagel and Christopher will walk us through the mind-heart connection, and help us practice some mindfulness and behaviroal action skills. Guests will also have the chance to ask questions during a live Q&A with both speakers, and enjoy snacks and a raffle.
This is a free event, but registration is required.
This event is proudly held in collaboration with the CoxHealth Foundation, which supports programs and services that enhance patient care across our community. Proceeds and community support help sustain initiatives like the Cardiology Endowment Fund, which provides ongoing support for cardiac services at CoxHealth, including patient care and technology enhancements. As an endowed fund, only the interest earnings are used to support program and service needs, ensuring long-term impact.
