Užgimusi kukliomis sąlygomis vilniečių entuziastų dėka “Itališkoje smuklėje”, keliavo per kitas gražias ir dar gražesnes sales, ją mylėjo ir puoselėjo įvairūs žmonės, kolektyviai ir pavieniui, ir netgi įvairūs miestai! Per tuos 20 metų pirmieji, ją organizavę, jau ir dinozaurais spėjo pavirsti...

✨ Having come full circle through a long and colorful history, the Gardel Milonga has returned to its roots—much like a train that, after a long journey and stops at many different stations, finally pulls back into its depot. Born from humble beginnings at the "Italian Tavern" (*Itališka smuklė*) thanks to the efforts of Vilnius-based enthusiasts, it traveled through a succession of increasingly beautiful venues; it was loved and nurtured by many—collectively and individually—and even across different cities! 20 years later organizers of the very first Milonga Gardel call temselves tango dinosaurs.
✨ Let’s look back at the years gone by—at the very beginning of the story of Milonga Gardel—and celebrate this anniversary together! We are turning the page on the last twenty years... Will we open a new one? Who knows...
