Step away from the football crowds and enjoy a more inspired Saturday at the October Makers Market, held inside the historic McKinney Cotton Mill.
This curated indoor market brings together 38 talented North Texas makers offering original art, handcrafted jewelry, distinctive home décor, specialty foods, accessories and thoughtfully made gifts. Guests can meet the artists and makers, learn about their creative processes and discover pieces with a story behind them—far beyond the ordinary retail experience.
With its soaring ceilings, exposed brick and industrial character, the McKinney Cotton Mill offers a memorable setting for an afternoon of shopping and exploring. The entire market is indoors, making it an easy fall outing regardless of the unpredictable Texas weather.
Whether you are beginning your holiday shopping, refreshing your home for the season or looking for a one-of-a-kind gift, the Makers Market offers an inviting mix of craftsmanship, creativity and personal connection. Every purchase directly supports an independent artist or small creative business in the North Texas community.
Plan time to browse at an unhurried pace, enjoy the architecture and connect with makers whose work brings beauty, character and originality to everyday life and home.
Bring a friend, take a football timeout and make a day of discovering something beautifully made.
The October Makers Market takes place Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the McKinney Cotton Mill, 610 Elm Street in McKinney. Guests should enter through Parking Lot B. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
