Parents, we need your voices!Please join us at the next Millard School Board meeting to share your thoughts on police officers carrying shock gloves in our middle and high schools for use on students who do not comply with commands.
Omaha Public Schools (OPS) removed the gloves following public backlash, but Millard has chosen to keep them.
So far, very few parents have attended board meetings to speak out. Many parents may not even realize that the headlines about OPS removing the gloves do not include Millard Public Schools.
Millard still allows these devices in our schools, and parents deserve a say in that decision.
