Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating second chances and workforce transformation, as MILES of Freedom marks 14 years of impact with its Annual Anniversary Celebration. This year's theme, "Be The Change," honors more than a decade of transformational work supporting individuals and families impacted by the justice system. NBC 5's Cleo Greene will moderate the keynote conversation with Damon West, an internationally known keynote speaker and four-time bestselling author who was formerly incarcerated after being sentenced to life in prison for organized crime. USA Today calls him the "modern-day Shawshank Redemption" and "the most in-demand speaker in America." On parole in Texas until 2073, his story is one of hope, redemption, grit, and the resilience of the human spirit. Best known for his "Coffee Bean" philosophy, his message has reached audiences everywhere from NFL locker rooms to universities to prisons across the country.
Proceeds from the evening will directly support MILES of Freedom's mission to revolutionize reentry for individuals impacted by the justice system by meeting urgent needs, building restorative relationships, and creating pathways to opportunity that help them rebuild their lives and achieve lasting stability.
Early Bird tickets are currently $150. Ticket prices will increase to $175 beginning September 20, 2026.
