After years in clubs and smaller venues, he gradually built an international career, remaining true to tradition while simultaneously giving a very personal interpretation to the genre.
Throughout his career, he won multiple Blues Music Awards and co-founded the band Royal Southern Brotherhood with other top musicians from the scene. Today, he is a fixture at festivals and blues stages worldwide.
