In this moment of repression against women and LGBTQ people by Trump and the billionaire class, join us for the Midwest Women's Socialist Conference to learn about the remarkable women and LGBTQ individuals who have always been on the front lines in the fight for liberation. This conference will be an all-day educational event, where participants will have the choice between a variety of workshop topics, such as women in the labor struggle, immigration, the global struggle against imperialism, trans liberation, the black feminist struggle, violence against women and LGBTQ people, and healthcare, reproductive rights, and trans bodily autonomy. We will be joined by 2024 vice presidential candidate Karina Garcia as our keynote speaker.

While so many sectors of our working-class communities are under attack, this event will provide a forum for attendees from all across the midwest to come together and discuss how to best unite our communities in the struggle for a new system that guarantees liberation, dignity and self determination for all. This conference will provide a militant and working class alternative to the womens and LGBTQ movement that has often been co-opted by the Democrats and the entire capitalist, imperialist class. We will develop together a political analysis of how we ended up here, show how the entire capitalist system is to blame, image a future world worth living in, and, most importantly, begin planning how to fight for that world.

In the words of Assata Shakur, “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains!”

En este momento de represión contra las mujeres y la gente LGBTQ por Trump y la clase multimillonaria, únete a nosotros en la Conferencia Socialista de Mujeres del Medio Oeste para aprender sobre las mujeres y las personas LGBTQ extraordinarias que siempre han estado en las primeras líneas de la lucha por la liberación.
