What: Tornado Response Drill
Details:
- ALL outdoor warning sirens will activate throughout Midwest City
- Midwest City offices will close during response drill, approximately :30 minutes
- Customer service and transaction activity will be paused during the drill
- Businesses and organizations throughout Midwest City are encouraged to conduct drills of their own, testing preparedness and readiness
- Drill is being conducted during regular operating hours to test public facing warning systems and internal systems that require City personnel to be present
- Having City personnel onsite will also help us test key measures that insure our ability to stay operational during a direct tornado impact
