About this Event
The sun has long since set. Emerging from beneath the dark waters, you take a deep breath. There is a glow in the distance: small at first, but growing stronger. The stars begin to shine brighter, lighting your path as you begin swimming anew.
In this immersive, introspective workshop, you will be guided by sound and intuition while working in an initially dark space, with glow-in-the-dark paint on a floating canvas. Throughout the session, a specially crafted musical and vocal narrative will guide your actions, offering instructions, prompts and suggestions as you move through the painting and drawing experience.
Midnight Journey is a brand-new experience combining music by BlueShyGuy, Rotterdam-based producer and creator, an artistic narrative by Monika Monko from flock & doodle, and your participation.
This is not an art installation to simply observe. It unfolds here, in the moment, through what you create. At the end, you leave with your canvas, and whatever thoughts, feelings or discoveries emerged along the way.
This is your journey toward the light.
