The festive summer speedway season rolls on at Lucas Oil Auckland Speedway with another must-see night of action on the clay!On Tuesday 29 December, the spotlight turns to the Midget 40 Lapper, featuring some of the top Midget racers from New Zealand and the United States. With visiting American drivers joining Auckland's finest, fans can expect a thrilling battle as competitors push their machines to the limit over 40 laps of intense racing.
Should Promotions be required to issue a new date due to weather, the proposed rain date will be scheduled for 30th December commencing at 4pm.
Joining the Midgets on a packed programme are Sprintcars, F2 Midgets, TQ Midgets and Quarter Midgets, ensuring non-stop action from the first green flag to the final chequered flag. With five classes in action and plenty of star power on track, this promises to be one of the highlights of the holiday racing calendar.

Should weather impact the event, the rain date is Wednesday 30 December 2026, with racing commencing from 4:00PM.
Parking:
Main parking is available in the reserve off Alfred Street. Limited mobility parking is located near the main ticketing box. Please ensure a valid mobility card is displayed.
Open Pits:
Spectators are welcome to visit the pits! Please remember that speedway is a hazardous environment. Stay alert and be mindful of moving vehicles throughout the meeting for everyone’s safety.
Food & Drink:
We’re happy for you to bring your own food and drinks. Please note that commercially prepared food, glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.
