Middle Aged Boy Band
Remember these guys? Neither do we. But guess what? The Greatest Boy Band That Never Was is hitting the road and it’s going to bring lots of laughter!
Middle Aged Boy Band: the uproariously funny music parody and comedy show that takes a hilarious swipe at the iconic boy bands of yesteryear like *NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, and One Direction!
It’s Whose Line is it Anyways meets the Backstreet Boys.
The cast of Middle Aged Boy Band have picked up Canadian Comedy Awards, performed with Second City, and appeared on CBC’s The Debaters, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Now they’re back together for the funniest reunion tour ever - 100% improvised and 1000% ridiculous.
What to expect:
- Love songs made up on the spot
- Enthusiastic dance moves
- Wild crowd work
- Pop-star dreams that just won’t die
- And a whole lot of boy band heart from guys older than Google
They used to have dreams of being boy band pop stars. Then life hit - marriage, kids, minivans. But now the kids are grown, and they’re back on stage with one last shot at glory, struggling to hit those high notes, battling receding hairlines, but embracing their aging bods with pride.
