About this Event

Midday Sit Spot Club

A guided nature pause to slow down, unplug, and reset.

Feeling overwhelmed? You’re not alone. Many of us move through our days overstimulated, distracted, and disconnected from the natural rhythms that help us feel grounded and well.

Midday Sit Spot Club is a simple weekly practice designed to help you pause, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with nature — and yourself.

A “sit spot” is a place outdoors where you return regularly, simply to sit and be. No agenda. No pressure. Just time to notice, breathe, and settle into the present moment.

For 99.9% of human history, humans lived in close relationship with the natural world. Our nervous systems are still deeply connected to nature, and even a few intentional minutes outside can help reduce stress, calm the mind, and improve mood and focus.

Research also shows that short, repeated moments of nature connection can be more impactful than occasional longer outings. This practice is about creating a sustainable rhythm of connection and care.

During our time together, you’ll be guided through gentle invitations to help you:

  • slow down and unplug
  • rest your mind and body
  • deepen sensory awareness
  • build a meaningful relationship with nature
  • create a supportive habit of outdoor mindfulness

You may be surprised by how good it feels to simply sit near a tree with nowhere else to be.

Bring something comfortable to sit on, dress for the weather, and silence your phone if possible. We’ll gather outdoors each week for a shared midday reset in nature.

Let your body settle. Let your mind rest. Press pause and reconnect with what matters.

And last, but not least. Come as you are. Everyone is welcome.
