Join us for an additional Queer Craft Night each month! Both queer and ally artisans are invited to gather, socialize, and create together at our craft nights. We encourage crafters of all crafts, beginner to advanced, to join us. Come socialize, get tips and tricks, or just enjoy the solidarity of shared activities! This additional craft night will be on the second Thursday of each month from 6pm to 9pm starting in April. Our location is Stranded Yarn & Coffee Shop!
The Asterix* intends to provide a welcoming and affirming space and events for 2SLGBTQ+ folks, the strategically undervalued members of our community, and our allies. Our events are intended as inclusive spaces where everyone is welcome - queer, questioning, and our allies.
❤️ Everyone is welcome - queer, questioning, and allies.
🧡 We follow the Vegas Rule: what happens here stays here - safety first - please don't out your fellow community members.
💛 Ouch! Oops! - please hold yourself accountable in our space if you make a mistake or say or do something hurtful, as we all do at times. Even if you had good intentions, please consider your impact.
💚 We ask that if you are feeling unwell to please stay home and care for yourself.
💙 We encourage masking to help protect our most vulnerable community members. Let’s keep each other safe!
💜 Our events are free to the public, but please consider purchasing directly from our host venue Stranded Yarn and Coffee Shop, in appreciation for allowing us to use their space.
