About this Event
The words we say create the world around us and the art we birth borrows from that spoken world. The microdose co-op presents the “Giving Thanks” gallery where we will be celebrating Charleston’s cultural roots through local artists, spokenword and rap. Celebrating the many ways that art can be crafted and showing gratitude for Charleston’s cultural heritage rooted in African tradition, the younger generation demonstrates how these traditions live on and morph into new ways of being and expression. Sit back, relax, grab a drink and snack as we experience the many different ways there is to experience gratitude. If you love art enough to have a permanent piece be a part of your being, enter into our raffle to have a free flash tattoo done during the show!
