Join us this December for our first ever Micro Fusion Saturday! That's right! We are interrupting our regularly scheduled programming to bring you something new! (please take note of the change in location as we briefly move to a smaller studio to accompany a smaller dance)Micro fusion is an improvised partner dance that incorporates small, subtle, and intentional movements within a close-embrace position. Micro puts an emphasis on creating a nuanced/deep partner-to-partner connection rather than on the execution of specific moves. Like fusion, it can involve bringing techniques and skills from other dance forms, however, it mostly feels like its own individual/original dance. We hope you will join us! No dance experience required!
We will have a beginner level lesson from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm and then the social will go til midnight. No partner necessary!
Cost: sliding scale of $5-10 for entry via cash (preferred option) or Venmo.
We are always looking for volunteers to work the door. The volunteer slots available are: 8:00-9:00, 9:00-10:00, and 10:00-11:00. No entry fee required if you are volunteering.
Please invite everyone you want to dance with!
Parking info: Park anywhere in the lot. It is large from what I understand.
