Celebrate five incredible years of the Michigan Black Summit at our 2027 Gala, A Soul Train Celebration!
Join us for an unforgettable evening inspired by the music, fashion, energy, and cultural impact of the 1970s. This year, we are trading the traditional black tie gala for a vibrant Soul Train party featuring dinner, dancing, a Motown tribute, special performances, and exciting surprise guests.
We are proud to welcome Michigan’s own R&B icon Adina Howard back home! Known for her bold style, powerful voice, and unforgettable hits, Adina Howard will bring her signature energy to the Michigan Black Summit Gala stage.
Guests will also enjoy the Gerald Levert Experience, a powerful musical tribute celebrating the timeless songs, soulful sound, and lasting legacy of Gerald Levert. From the smooth harmonies of LeVert to the passionate solo hits that defined a generation, this special experience will take guests on a journey through classic R&B.
Come dressed in your best 1970s inspired attire and get ready to sing, dance, and step into the Soul Train line as we celebrate five years of leadership, culture, advocacy, and Black excellence.
