Your Voice Matters — Women, Advocacy and the Capitol
Spend the afternoon with MI ATHENA exploring advocacy in a way that is accessible, practical and empowering.
The event will begin at the Michigan State Capitol with a guided tour and an opportunity to learn more about Michigan’s legislative process. Following the tour, guests will continue to the Michigan Chamber of Commerce for a panel discussion led by Wendy Block, executive vice president of business advocacy, along with other experienced leaders in advocacy and public policy.
Following the panel, continue the conversation during a relaxed networking reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. Connect with other women, ask questions and build relationships while learning how your voice can make a difference.
