La Semana de México en Chicago — Mexico Week — returns to Navy Pier May 1–10, 2026! Presented by the Consulado General de México en Chicago in partnership with the City of Chicago and the Mexican government, this annual cultural celebration is one of Chicago's richest Mexican heritage showcases. The multi-day event features art exhibitions, mariachi performances, folklórico dancing, Mexican food and cuisine, educational workshops, children's programming, tequila and wine tastings, artisan markets, live music, and cultural programming highlighting the diverse states of Mexico. A beloved tradition for Chicago's vibrant Latino community, Mexico Week draws tens of thousands of visitors each year to the iconic lakefront venue at Navy Pier.
